Very good service staff were very attentive but not in your face, they kept an eye on the table without being intrusive.the food was very well cooked and presented.

We sat in the bar area which has a lovely atmosphere. We calamari and Lamb koftas which were delicious and the fish cakes were good and chicken milanese was tasty. Great service staff friendly and very helpful. Lovely wine.

Love this pub, fab food and drinks and lovely staff, so pleasant and attentive, will be back soon definitely. Would definitely recommend to all friends and family

My food- seabass was delicious but the chicken dishes were disappointing. The waitress was pleasant, the manager was rather offhand and very casual.

It was a mistake to book a Sunday evening. On arrival we were immediately told a list of items that were unavailable which was OK-ish as we imagined they'd had a busy day. We ordered our food. My starter of mushrooms was cold, and was returned. It was little warmer on the second attempt. The topping of breadcrumbs tasted of raw garlic and the bread was stale as if sliced much earlier in the day. I ordered a roast dinner which had clearly been cooked in time for the lunchtime menu. The greens were overcooked, the gravy had separated and yet again, the food was tepid at best. My friend ordered a veggie burger which was also tepid. Her chips were cold. The only thing that came hot apart from the teas and coffees was the mini pud. The waitress spoke loudly so it felt awkward raising any issues. Our order for water was forgotten and a second request had to be made, and a request for a pot of extra hot water to be able to drink tea without milk was at first ignored, then came in a mug. Really disappointing from a restaurant I normally love and which usually has much higher standards. The staff were friendly enough but I can only assume had been on duty all day.
